High Speed Internet
Does anyone know if the Poly offers a high speed internet connection in their guestrooms????

I am not totally sure about this. Mickey posted on another thread about this and said that there are some kiosl in certain hotels that do have high speed, but are $1 for 4 minutes. He also said that DisneyQuest has an internet cafe that is included in the admission price. I am pretty sure that they do not have it in the rooms.

The only high-speed Internet access I know of onsite is at the Swan & Dolphin. We stayed at the Dolphin Xmas of 2002 and we had high-speed hookup then... The S&D are oriented toward conventions and business execs who need Internet access. Coronado Springs may also have Internet hookups, since it's also geared to business meetings, etc.

According to Disney, High Speed Internet is at the following resorts (for an additional cost)
Coronado Board Walk Grand Floridian Contemporary Yacht & Beach Club

I would suggest buying some prepaid dialup from:
http://www.budgetdialup.com. You can get 10 hours for $5.95 and they have a local orlando number. It worked great for me at the GF last year. |
