We are planning to go to Disney soon, in which my Mother and Sister have agreed to join us. Their first pick is January, because they don't handle the heat too well. Seeing this will be the first, and probably the only time my Mother will go, I'm insisting that we stay at AKL, to make it all the more special of a trip. Well, Mother got a hold of the rate information and almost had a heart attack about the costs! Does anyone know if there usually is a room rate discount in the month of January? Also, how's the weather at that time. Wondering if the pools are comfortable.

January is value season. You will get good discounts then,especially if one of your party will get an annual pass to take advantage of AP rates.

AKL can be booked at a bargain rate in January. I stayed there last January and I think the rate was $119 a night or something close to that. January is a great time of year to go for people who do not enjoy the heat or the crowds. I loved it so much that I am already booked to go again this January.

I am also planning on going in January. My brother lives in Orlando and do you know if Fl. residents can book more than one room?
