Quick trip to WDW :)

Hey DCers
We are planning to go on a trip to WDW at the end of July and we cannot decide on which resort to stay in. We have narrowed it down to four resorts.

-Contemporary Resort
-Carribean Beach
-Pop Century
-Wilderness Lodge

Now we have stayed in the Contemporary and the WL many times and always enjoy it. Then we started thinking about going to a different resort and broadening our "disey resort horizons". Please help. Thank you so much

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

I have to go with WL. It became my favorite last summer. I could stay there every trip and never feel like I was missing out on anything else. The resort is so peaceful, such a change from the fast pace of the parks.

I love the WL, but also like trying out a new resort each trip. You should try out the Polly! I think staying at a new resort each trip makes each one magical in it's own way. The Polly is simply gorgeous too, so it's not a bad choice all around....monorail access!!!! I can't wait to hear what you decide to do.

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

I would say CBR, just because of the time of year. PC is huge, and doesn't have a very large lobby, and just has a food court. The plus side to PC is that no matter what building you get you are close to the lobby, whereas at CBR some buildings are so far out that you have to take a bus to get to the lobby. After thinking about it for a minute I would probably say go for PC, it is cheaper and the same size of CBR, but everything is much closer!!!

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

Out of the 4 choices, I would say the Contemporary because it is the only one listed on the monorail system. Can't beat that convenience! Look forward to hearing what you choose.

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

Of the 4, I'd say WL. We have stayed at CBR and liked it but honestly we like POR better if you are choosing a moderate resort.

What about the Poly which I think is similar in price to the Contemporary? We have never stayed there but we have visited and thought it was neat!!

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

Thanks ya'll
We have decided to go with a change and try the CBR. Hopefully the size of it won't be that much of a problem(i.e. food court, buses, etc.) Thank you so much for the help. I will tell you how it goes!

Re: Quick trip to WDW :)

Yeah, I think that you will like CBR too. The only thing you might not like is if you get put in one of the far out buildings, and then you would have to use the internal bus system.
