Bringing food into parks

I was just curious, did WDW every have a policy where the did not allow you to bring your own food into any of the parks. The past few times I have gone we always brought in snacks and small stuff, with two small kids and long lines you need something on hand. About a month before we go to WDW we start getting our stuff together and we find all the snacks with Disney characters, my kids love it. Anyway, has anyone ever had trouble trying to bring food into the parks?

Re: Bringing food into parks

Last year we had one of those collapsable rolling coolers!! We filled it everyday with water bottles and pop and we brought snacks and most days a small lunch in it!!! They never said a word just wanted to make sure there was no alcohol in it!!!

People ask if it was a problem but really it was not!!! We would park it in the stroller parking and get it after the rides!!! We saved a bundle!!! One water in the parks was $2.50 and we bought 24 for $5!!! Then we would refill them and reuse them for the week!!! We also bought bottled pop!!! Huge savings there too!!!

We had small snacks like cheese and crackers, funfruits, pringles and granola bars.... That way we did not have to buy a snack everytime!!! It worked out great!!!!! We did it everyday for eight days with no problems!!!!!
