Re: Itinerary Check

Matt -

You have a great itinery there. It seems that you got it all covered to me. Basic plans, but not over done. You are going to be fine as is I think. I am very interested in your reivews of the 1900 Park Fare breaksfast and the Earl of Sandwich. I have had the dinner at 1900, but never the breakfast and Earl is definately something I want to try. I know you will take extensive notes (hint hint wink wink)

Actually, I've done them both already.

Do them!

1900 is a GREAT CB. It got panned a few years ago, but we had a great time there as have many others that I've spoken to about it over the last year.

Earl of Sandwich is like an upscale Subway. Best sandwiches I've ever eaten!

Let me know about the tea at the Grand Floridian. That's something I've always wanted to try, and plan to next trip...post a report!!

Sounds like you're going to have a wonderful time. Were you able to get a tower room at the Contemp?

Re: Itinerary Check

Sounds like a blast. Hope you have a great trip.

I noticed that you are staying in several resorts during your stay. Does that make a trip more hectic...packing, moving and unpacking again??? I noticed a lot of DCers have done that. Just curious.

Re: Itinerary Check

Why all the resort hopping?? Why not just do one block at PC and then the other at the Contemp. Also, about lunches try doing an early lunch always, especially at counter-services, that is the latest trick. It seems that people have heard about doing a late lunch, and that has become the norm.

Well, I know it seems a little nutty, but it made more sense this way. We never get to stay in the Deluxes, so we wanted to be able to realyl enjoy them. We're arriving late on nigth one, so we wouldn't be able to take advantage of the Contemp right away, so we didn't want to waste it. We were considering either one night at the GF or two at the Contemp, so we settled on the Contemp. Since Disney does most of the work when you go from resort to resort, we figured, what the heck?

As far as lunches, I agree. We either do a light breakfast and an early lunch or a big breakfast with no lunch or just a mid-day sanck.

I thought about that too. But I figured it's MUCH easier to cancel PS's than to make them at the last minute.

Our last two trips, we've cancelled at least 2 PS's each, so I expect we'll end up doing the same.

HAHA, I did find it a little Commando, but I agree with you Matt you can always cancel when it has become too much!! I love to go into it acting all commando, but then you realize where you are and you just want to soak it all up!!! That's Disney for you!!!

Re: Itinerary Check

It never hurts to have plans Matt. My plans always look commandoish at the start, but PS's can be cancelled if the mood strikes and it's better to have a PS then not right? I can't wait to hear your take on the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. That one is definately on my itinery for this upcomoing trip. Me and my DD can't wait to hang with Mary and her new "friend" Pooh..lol
