Contemporary North Garden Wing
Has anybody stayed in the North Garden wing at the Contemporary? If so, what was your experience? Any tips? Also, I have read a few differing opinions about the long walk to the Monorail... anybody have any opinions on this? Thank you. This wait is killing me. Have been to Disneyland 7 or 8 times but this is only my 2nd WDW trip and my first since 1995. Hope to be going to WDW much more often in the future, then maybe I can start answering questions instead of just asking them.:laugh

While it may be a couple minute walk to the monorail, you are just that much closer to the Magic Kingdom. There is a nice path that follows the monorail, and you are probably a four or five minute walk to the main entrance. Beats walking to the monorail, waiting for it, going around to TTC, Poly, Grand Floridian and then MK. That would be a good 20 minutes, at least. I would guess it is the same distance from Paradise Pier to the entrance of Disneyland, well, maybe not quite that long.

How about the other parks? Would it be quicker to catch the bus at the resort or take the Monorail to the TTC and transfer from there? I want to partake of the Disney Magic with as little delay possible.;)

For EPCOT, I would catch the monorail, switch at the TTC, and head to EPCOT on that monorail. As far as Disney-MGM and Animal Kingdom, hop on the direct bus to the park, and do the same thing on the way back. I have found that the less number of transfers you have to make, the better off you are. Most of the time spent getting to the parks is waiting for buses. If you only have to wait for one, you are that much better off. As far as EPCOT goes, it is worth transfering and riding the monorail. It is just as good as any ride in WDW.
