If I leave a note for mousekeeping say in the sink or on the toilet lid will they put out a gift each day for my kids? I have some things I've bought in advance I'd like to have left on the made bed each day with a note. I'm just wondering if Mousekeeping would help out or do I need to go through the front desk for this kind of help?

I do plan on leaving a tip envelope each day for mousekeeping.

If you've done this sort of thing for your kids I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions.

I never thought about leaving a note for mousekeeping to put the treasures out...Here's what we do: As we are leaving our room to catch the bus I conveniently say I've forgotten something (which is very common for me whether we are at WDW or at home) and have to run back to the room...usually my family has only walked about 50 feet when I realize I have forgotten my water bottle, fanny pack, extra film, etc...so I tell them to keep walking and I'll catch up with them. I place the animals on the unmade bed and when we get back to the room, the mousekeeper will have arranged them so creatively. The kids love it and by the end of the day (we're usually away from our rooms from 9am until 10 or 11 pm) they have forgotten that I had to run back to the room. Not that they gave it any thought anyway...Also, make sure to tell the front desk if someone is celebrating a birthday, anniversary, etc...because they will bring a signed character card & balloons into the room sometime during your stay.

I think it would be better for you to put gifts at the front desk. I am sure that they will hand it over to the apropriate person to deliver it to your room. If it is a birthday, be sure to alert them!!

If you talk to you Mousekeeper in person and explain the scenerio, they will probally do it. Explain to them that you will leave a note as to where to stick the gifts etc and of course include a nice hefty tip.

I'm not sure, but like A Goofy Family said, you could always go back and place them. How exciting!!!!!

One time I wrote Mousekeeping a note while DS was asleep and as the boys and their Dad had just walked out of the room in the morning, I left it on the table with a gift for my son and asked her to arrange on the bed after she made it up.

She took care of my wishes. Oh, we left a nicely decorated envelope with Disney characters on it that contained a tip every day.

Great idea -- thinking of some special gifts to have out for the kids. Like the stuffed animal idea. I would leave with the front desk though.

We did not ask the Mousekeeping. Each day we purchased items from the different parks and would bring them back to our room that night. While we were gone the next day, Mousekeeping would arrange them different ways in the room. IT WAS AWESOME. I loved it.

We came back one day with all of the stuffed animals on the bed, really on the pillows and the TV was on. They were watching the channel that tells you what all there is to do at WDW and Minnie was in charge of the remote control. My kids thought it was hysterical...

This is exactly what our last Mousekeeper did for us. Judy was lovely. Every night when we would come home DD's cuddly toys were in hilarious situations from watching the TV ( remote in hand) to doing a crossword puzzle, having tea at the table to even having a bath! we could not wait to get the door open and see what we would find. It really made our stay just that bit more special.
