Resort Pools

Can anyone tell me how late the resort pools are open. I am interested in the pools at the POR in particular.

Thanks for your help.....

Re: Resort Pools

I remeber when we there (POR), the year we got engaged as a matter of fact, the pools closed at 11:00. But we were able to swim with out a life guard, Cm's even walked by, but we where not asked to leave. I do not if there are any stricter now?
Now that we have smaller DS's, I don't need to worry about later evenings at the pool, for now anyways!

Re: Resort Pools

I really don't know the exact time that the lifeguards are on duty. All I do know is we've seen people swimming at midnight. (of course no lifeguards are on duty as this time) When our kids were younger, and we took them down to the pool after the guards were off duty, no one ever told us to leave. Now, that everyone is older, it seems when we get back from the Parks , we are all to tired to swim.... That's why we go to the pools early in the morning. Infact, we are there before the lifeguards even start. JOANN

Re: Resort Pools

Thanks Mr. Disneyfan1 and Joann, this is exactly what I was looking for. I am thinking that it would be nice to go for a swim after dinner... This will work.

September 15-20, the POFQ pool slide closed at 8:00, but we were swimming after 10:00 (no lifeguard)...

Re: Resort Pools

There'll be a sign posted by the pool to check. I think they're actually open 24hours, but lifeguards only at certain times. The slides are ONLY open when a lifeguard is on duty.

Re: Resort Pools

We were just there. The main pool area was still going strong at 11pm. There was no life guard though. We had hoped for a quiet swim, so we opted for one of the other pools and stayed till after midnight.
