staying at more than one resort

For those who have stayed at more then one resort, how does it work? Will the staff move your luggage for you? We are arriving very late on the first day of our trip. We were thinking of staying at a value resort (hopefully PC) and then staying at the Poly or CR for the rest of our trip. I know we have to check in and out at both resorts. Our plan was to go to the MK and then check in at the Poly later in the afternoon!
It is a huge hassle?
Thanks
Karen

No hassle at all. They will move that luggage over for you, no problem. You just pack up and move on to enjoy the parks.
The only place that will not do luggage transfers is the Swan/Dolphin, as they are not Disney owned.

Re: staying at more than one resort

We moved twice last time. From BWV to BCV to OKW and it was no problem at all. However - you do have to wait for the bell staff to remove your luggage from the room. This is a new policy that they just initiated. (use to be you could just leave the luggage in the room, and leave). So plan accordingly. Have it all packed up and ready to leave early in the am, so you won't be waiting around, wasting valuable park time.
