How early can you book your room???
Just wondering how early you can book a room but still be able to take advantage of discount codes?

I could be ready in a minute for WDW, just tell me when! 11/78 & 11/84- WDW - Ft. Wilderness 09/87 - Disneyland - Off Site WDW - Off Site 10/89, CBR 10/99, CBR 05/04, CBR 05/05, CBR 05/07 STEELERS WILL BE BACK IN 2008! YANKEES WILL BE BACK IN 2009! AND THE BROWN'S WILL BE BACK IN WDW 2009! |

You can book a room as early as a couple of years in advance. Last time I asked, they booked a room for a client of mine in 2007. Now that is planning ahead. If your room is booked in advance, you or your travel agent can have the discounts applied to the reservation when they are released.

Back in July of this year, I booked for Dec. 2005 and was also able to book a Disney Cruise for the same time. The more we talked, the more I decided that I am not sure I am ready to slow down and be on a cruise ship for more than a day (I am always so active that I can't imagine slowing down for 4 or more days), plus I would rather be at Disney riding the rides and seeing the shows. Needless to say we cancelled the cruise and chose 11 days at Disney and 3 days at Universal for less than what we would have paid for the cruise. Go figure!

If you do start spittin them out that fast, you can always come here for advice from us veteran parents as to how to do Disney with so many kids.  Then, when some newlywed posts a thread about how nasty kids are at Disney, then YOU can jump all over them. It's funny how life works. Just the other day, I found myself scolding one of my kids and then I realized something horrible... I was channelling my dad!
