play areas

Hi all,
Now, I might just have dreamt this but I am sure that when DH and I stayed at WL a couple of years ago, they had a soft play area for the kids, same at the Poly. Am I right?
If so, do all resorts have this and in particular, does POR?
We have stayed at POR before but it was about 4 years ago now and I cannot recall seeing one there.

This time we have our DD with us who will be 21 months and so somwhere like this at the resort would be a god send for her on the days we wanna just hang out.

Thanks guys

A xxx

Re: play areas

There are playgrounds of same nature at every resort. I am not certain what you mean by "soft play area" though.

Re: play areas

thanks Dana....sorry if I have confused you, I just mean somewhere where the kids can watch cartoons and play with building bricks or similar, colouring....that type of thing. Not arcades etc etc.

Re: play areas

Ariel, POR has a television in the lobby that plays kids disney movies that my kids watched while we were checking in, but no indoor play area. They do have a great playground, though.

Re: play areas

I've seen those types near the check in in the lobbies...
They are not supervised or anything.

I am easily confused...no worries about that..lol I get it now. There are play areas in the lobbies and such to keep the kids busy while you check in and playgrounds outside. The deluxes have full kid care centers that are supervised and costs $10 an hour on average. Most of them are open during the day for you to check out and hang out but a parent must be there. Resorts vary with this, so check when you check-in.

Re: play areas

I believe that most of the resorts also have outdoor playgrounds with things like slides (don't recall seeing swings). This may be another place for you to hang out for a bit.
