air matresses
My family is planning a 16 day trip to Disney in April 2003. We have made reservations at the All Star Movies Resort. Would a twin size air matress fit in the room? Our two sons do not wish to have to share a bed and would like to use an air matress. Anyone with any knowledge about this matter please let me know. Thanks

Sure, it will fit, but I would make sure that you have one that you can blow up and take down quickly, since you won't want it on the floor all day and you won't have any place to really store it. You can tell by the room layout that there will be room, but not much.

Welcome to disneycentral Sonny56'! I've stayed at both the all star music and sports, and let me tell u the rooms are small! I think the matress could fit with some re-arranging of the furniture. It might be a close call though! Hope you have a great trip!

Welcome to Disney Central. Wow, 16 Days...I'm jealous. We are going for 10 days in May of 2003! We have stayed at Sports, Music, and Movies. Which area in movies did you request ? May I suggest that you request the Toy Story section? It is the closest to the food court, the bus stop, the play ground and fairly close to the pool. It is really great area (for kids and grown ups!!)
Anyway, back to your question....We have taken a "cot" for our son who was 2 1/2 at the time (instead of using a crib) and we pushed the cot against the wall, and then we pushed the bed against the cot. No one ever said we couldn't have it there, but then again, we never asked. And we only had housekeeping in 1 or 2 times over our trip, so it wasn't like there were several people in our room everday to see it. I'm sure you can call the resort directly (407-939-7000) and eask for the front desk to see if they will allow it. Have fun planning and have a wonderful trip!
