Which resorts have the best deco for x-mass?

Ok everyone. I need your expert info. We are going next week and I am bringing my mom and sis and friend as well as my kids (Poor DH has to work ). My mom and Sis have never gotten to see WDW during X-mass so I wanted to take them resort hopping on Thurs before we go to MVMCP. I have heard about the ginger bread house at GF, and that is a must on our list. What else is there at the other resorts? I think I saw on the Travel Channel something about a carousel and more???. Also we wanted to get a quick counter service dinner while we are hopping. Any ideas?

The Gingerbread House/bakeshop in the GF is rather impressive!

We saw the chocolate carousel at the Yaght and beach club. I think all the major resorts do an impressive job at holidays. Each is unique.

Thanks now I know where it is. I would think it is such a great time to resort hop.

Well I usually stay at the Carribean (they play steel drum christmas songs in the background), but I find time to check out the other resorts. The GingerBread house is impressive at GF and one year they even had a Carousel made from sweets too. The Contemp and Poly resorts both decorate with their themes as does the Wilderness Lodge. If I were you guys, I would check them all out...each has something different!

I don't think you can go wrong visiting any of them at Christmas!!!! All of the trips (except for one) that I've been on to WDW were for the Christmas deco's. and the fun of the holidays.

Make sure to see GF, Boardwalk, and WL. Can't speak to the others, but these were very impressive.

Re: Which resorts have the best deco for x-mass?

Wilderness Lodge is the best in my opinion. The GF gingerbread house is a must see, but overall I wasn't wowed by the GF decor. The AKL is unique and interesting to see. I didn't get to see the chocolate carousel...maybe next year.

Oooh, all this is great, thanks ... Im getting very happy thinking about it. We have PSs at Boma on Sun so I can look around the whole place. A great reason to go if I do say so, lol. I can't wait to see the other resorts

I love the GF during the holidays, not only the efforts they put into the Gingerbread house, but the gorgeous Victorian tree and decorations.
