Can feel the excitement building as we get closer to telling a 6 and 8 year old their special holiday present... DISNEY WORLD! Telling them the night before we leave at 6am...

I wish I was your child. That is so exciting for all of you. I don't think DH or I could keep a secret like that. It would be so hard.

Oh my goodness that is so great! My parents woke me and my brother up at 5 one morning when we were little and announced we were going to Mickey's house! It was so exciting... it felt like a secret mission, we were all sneaking out of the house in the dark, lol. This is something your kids will always remember. Have a great trip!! :)

I can tell you from experience how difficult it is to keep a secret like this.

DW and I did it two years in a row, but we couldn't do it for next week's trip.

The first time we picked them up from school and took them to the airport. The second time, we woke them at 3:30am!

I'm so looking forward to hear how your kids respond.

I think that would be a great idea to suprise the kids. However, I am such a kid myself that there is no way I could keep that from my ds. My dh? yep, he could do it. I should try it one year.

Hidden_Mikey -- we're going tomorrow too! And it is still a surprise for 4yo daughter. The suitcases are almost packed and hidden away. She has no clue. We will tell her we're going on a surprise adventure and go to the airport. We are going to wait and let her figure out where we're going.
