Wine

We'll be staying in the CR tower and I want to sit on our balcony and drink wine after my kid goes to bed at night. Where can I get wine down there? If we're lucky enough to get MK view, what time do the lights turn off? Doesn't the castle change colors for a while or is that only til park closing?

Re: Wine

We bought a couple bottles of wine at the grocery store before we checked into our hotel!

Re: Wine

The sundry shop on the fourth floor sell bottles of wine. Pretty much all of deluxe resorts sundry shops have bottles of wine/beer for sell. Not sure if different shops have different selections. If you have a vehicle then grocery stores right off property sell wine.

You may want to pack a wine opener, since the ones they sell may be pretty anemic.

Re: Wine

The lights on the castle will be beautiful until very late for the nights of MVMCP. I know last year we were there until one of the latest shows at the castle and the snowflakes were projected on the castle for that show. It was after midnight, even closer to 1:00 before we left and all the lights were still on.

Re: Wine

You may also want to consider getting a bottle of wine at Epcot. Most, if not all, of the countrys have a few different kinds of wine. My favorite is Japan's plum wine.

Re: Wine

The Spirits/Sundries store on the 4th floor does sell wine but it isn't the greatest selection I would also agree with the idea of buying a bottle at EPCOT because of the wide selection. If you do not have a bottle opener don't fret, the Front Desk is very helpful in getting one for your use from Room Service or some other source if needed!

Re: Wine

By far my favorite would be the Germany pavillion at epcot. Huge selection. Probably way over priced and not any better than a grocery store wine, but it's the fact that you bought it at EPCOT that makes it all worth it.
