Hotel confirmation letters?

Do all of the on-site hotels send confirmation letters to you @ home? I booked 2/5-2/12/05 @ CSR for mr, DH, DD 5 & DS 2 a few months ago & have not received anything. Should I call them?

It depends. Do you have a confirmation from them via e-mail? If yes, no problem, just print a copy to bring along. If you don't have an e-mail confirmation, I would certainly call them and as that you be sent either an e-mail or confirmation letter. You'll just need to provide them with your confirmation number. I did NOT receive a letter in the mail or an e-mail. Now I am nervous!!!!

When I made my PC reservation I did not recieve any sort of confirmation. I did call CRO to make sure they had it, and to add on a special request.

I just bumped up the thread for the 1-800 number to WDW CRO in case that helps.

Usually they send you the info. about 30 days out.

From my past experience you should receive your confirmation letter about 2 weeks after booking at the latest. If for some reason you have not received the letter my first question would be, did you pay a deposit at the time of booking? If you paid a deposit and it has shown up on your credit card statement you should not worry because that means it has been guaranteed, if not you will want to call WDW Central Reservations ASAP, the number is (407) W-DISNEY

I would call to double check. I have always gotten a letter the following week with all the room information on it.

If you booked online, you will not receive a letter or fax. If you booked with a travel agent, they will receive one for you. If you called, and booked a room only reservation (a 12 number confirmation), then you should have received a letter from then about a week after making the reservation. If you booked a package ( an 8 number confirmation), then you would probably receive a fax from them, or an email, but not a letter. If you still have the confirmation number, just call and check. If you have lost it, call and give them your name and arrival date and resort, and they should be able to find it for you.

I have a 12 digit reservation #. I booked everything separetly (I did it all my self, half the fun of it all!! IMHO). So I have the # but never received anything in writing. Do you think everything will be OK or should I call just in case?

Call, for sure. It isn't fun showing up at the hotel, and finding out your reservation has been cancelled.
