I am planning a trip to DW in June 2003 and am thinking about splitting the trip between 2 resorts due to we cannot agree on which one to stay at. We are thinking about staying at WL for part of trip and POFQ or POR rest of trip. Part of reason is cost. Has anyone split a stay like this and do you have any tips or suggestions to make this smooth. My wife is concerned about losing a day to moving between resorts. We also have 2 children 5 & 2. ;)

i have done what you are thinking of doing and you will not lose a day when you check out let them know you are moving to another resort and they will take your luggage to the other resort for you so you do not have to lug it to the other resort and will be there for when you check in .

I am also splitting my stay, the WL was not available the whole week so I am staying 2 nights at the Contemporary. I have been told it is very easy. Like tiggerlover said just let them know you are going to another resort and they will take care of it. I have heard it may take a few hours for the bags to be moved but if you are going to a park that day they should be moved when you get back, if you are planning on doing the pool that day just keep a change of clothes in a small bag. I'm looking at it as getting to experience two great resorts and you can't really unpack that much when staying at a resort anyway. I usually live out of the suitcase for the week.
