Room Service

I realize the value resorts only have pizza delivery... anyone know if the moderate resorts have room service?

And I'm hoping they don't want $11 for an omelette, but, it is Disney, lol.

Or maybe somewhere online there's a room service menu?

Re: Room Service

yes, they have room service, and yes, it's pricey...

you can check out www.allearsnet.com for complete menus

just click on the dining tab, and then resorts, from there you can get to whichever resort you want to check out.

And in case you haven't been welcomed, welcome to DC Madchen :c)

Re: Room Service

I believe the moderates have limited room service and all of the items are as expensive as the pizza. I had room service at the WL one year and nearly fell over when I saw the cost of a simple dinner for me and my DD.

Re: Room Service

Thanks! :)

Ok, so if I stayed at Carribean Beach, I would just use "Shutters," say, as what I'd order from room service? They just send it up from the restaurant at menu price? This is only the second trip I've taken by myself, and I've never traveled with anyone who likes to splurge on anything. ;)

I wonder how late they serve stuff. We're three hours earlier (time zone) and probably won't be hungry for breakfast till noon, hee hee.

Re: Room Service

It is my understanding that if the resort doesn't have In-Room dining listed to it under the menus on AllEars, then it doesn't have room service.

Re: Room Service

The one time I stayed at AKL,I looked at the room service menu, and almost fell over from the shock at the cost, but I guess if you can afford to stay there, money is not an object.

Re: Room Service

You really have to look at the menu and compare to the restaraunt's prices. You should find that the price is the same plus the tip is already included, There is a $3 room service charge. But the deluxe resorts (except WL) all have 24 hour room service.

I used the room service when we stayed at Coronado Springs. My son was down with a fever one day, and slept the whole day. DH and DD took off to AK, and I stayed in the room and ordered room service. The food was excellent but the price was high.

If you go here http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm you can find the menus.

Re: Room Service

I believe all the mods have a food court... you might be able to save some money by taking a tray filled with better-priced food back to your room... and some of the food at the food courts is REALLY great! beignets at POFQ, cinnamon rolls and caesar salad at POR, etc...

Re: Room Service

You can also try ordering from local places to deliver. I know I had some pizza delivery from a close place........ I dont remember where it was a while back.
