I just found out that...even though I was *sure* I mentioned it at some point...DH has NO IDEA that we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge for our anniversary! And of course, now that it's a "secret", I really want to keep it so I can surprise him!! I even had to change my signature so that it didn't spill the beans if DH happened to walk by while I was posting.

So I had to blab here...get it out of my system...

Trying to keep my lips sealed...

Only 125 days to go...

I couldn't do it either. I just love the WL!!!!!!! I'd just tell him and surprise him with a pal Mickey or a special souvineer! That is just too good of secret to keep!

Are you staying there at the end of your trip? Or starting your trip out there?

I decided to start our trip there, so that our anniversary is really special & exciting (because we'll have more than a week of our trip left to go!)

I seriously thought he knew...but according to him, he thought we were staying at Pop Century the whole time! So I keep saying "that other resort we're staying at" and the teasing is driving him crazy! Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh....

But at the same time, I can tell he wants me to keep it a secret, so he'll have a surprise to look forward to. I know, it's a HUGE secret to keep, but I'm going to hold it as long as I can!!

*Sigh!* Yeah, I guess I did. I went through a lot of scenarios, and decided that WL was my best option for that "special resort." I thought an Epcot resort would be perfect so that we could do a dinner at R&C or Le Cellier on our anniversary, but it turns out DH is surprising ME with our anniversary dinner, so I have no idea where it's gonna be!

Since DH fell in love with the Grand Californian at DLR, I knew he would absolutely ADORE WL...and it happens to be quite a bit more affordable than most of the Epcot resorts!

I really appreciate your suggestions, though...you guys helped me make a lot of decisions!!

It's OK. The value of WL is the reason that when we can afford a Deluxe, it will be WL. It is close to the monorail, and its the cheapest Deluxe.

Yeah, the only reason I was ever able to afford a Deluxe before (Poly--$98/night!!) was a big stroke of luck. So I figure I should count my blessings that I am going to get to stay at a Deluxe at all! Besides...WL is one of my absolute favorites that I have visited, and I know DH will love it. So I'm very excited and thankful!

Whoohoo! I just got to take 3 days off my countdown because I realized I had the wrong date in there!! That is the BEST feeling in the world!

No the best feeling is seeing less than 2 months on there.. LOL. (for me). A few months it will be Single Digit Dancing for me.

And I'm like you - I cannot keep a secret to save my life. Not on purpose of course... it just slips. But be strong! lol! The look on his face I'm sure will be priceless! Congrats on such a great hotel and I hope you both have a GREAT trip!

Whew, probably like 11-12 hours I think! I haven't booked airfare yet, so I'm not positive exactly how long, but when Ryan flew to Minneapolis it was about 9 hours...so I'm estimating.
