Having groceries delivered to resort?
I know I have read somewhere that there are a few stores/websites that will deliver some groceries to your resort for you.
Anyone try this yet or have any more info. We may have to do this if we use the magical express. Thanks!!!

I'm thinking of sending a box of goodies by UPS ground to the CBR where we're staying. We're flying, so can't lug too much. Resort said they'd hold for our arrival at no extra handling charge.

I believe that it is Netgrocer (http://www.netgrocer.com) that offers delivery to WDW resorts, but we have never used the service.

I have not had experience with this but I have heard you can fax your order ahead to Albertson's and they will have it ready and all you have to do is go in and pick it up!!! Very quick!

Where's the Albertson's? Do you have the phone number or town where I can get # from information? That would be great 'cause I think our limo driver might make a 20 minute stop from airport to WDW. Having everything ready to just pick up would be great!

I used www.WeGoShop.com in December. It was great. I faxed a list of what I wanted, and picked the store (I said to pick the cheapest). She was there right when she said with everything I ordered. After 12 hours of flying with 5 kids, it was sheer luxury to sleep in and let her do the shopping for me! I'm definitely going to use them again.

If I am not mistaken WDW provides deliveries for groceries. We belong to DVC and I'm pretty sure I when surfing the DVC site they had an order form. I'll check.

An alternative to this plan of action is to book transportation from MCO to WDW using Quicksilver. If you request ahead of time they will stop at a store for 30 minutes so that you cna run in and get the essentials. We did it and no doubt saved a fortune on milk (our 1 DS is 2 years old) and bottled water.
