What building at Pop Century?
Trying to plan a trip for next January and would like to stay at the Pop Century. I imagine that DW would like to stay in the 70's or 80's. Any suggestions on what building to request. Would like to be near bus line but far enough away to avoid the noise. I know I sound picky, but would like the best possible.
Thanks Steve

Re: What building at Pop Century?
The 60's, 70's and 80's are the closest ones, but with the layout they have there, all are very close to the center of things. I would pay the extra $10 a night and go with a preferred room.

Dana, I thought you were already gone, have a great trip!
Whats the difference between regular and preferred? Am I likely to get connecting rooms if I request this early? Thanks

Re: What building at Pop Century?
We just got back from a stay in the 70's building. We really liked it. It didn't seem to be a very long walk to Classic Hall at all, and we were on the far side of the building on the 4th floor! The only somewhat negative was for my Dad who just had a knee replacement in November....He thought it was a bit of a walk, but not un-doable (is that English?!

SDuncan
We were at pc in the summer (July 4th) and after 1 one night of our DD's disagreements of sharing a bed, my DH went to see if we could get the room next door as it was interconnecting. It was all sorted with a swipe of his credit card and we had a great time! I think that most of the rooms are interconnecting.

Re: What building at Pop Century?
Oh....I forgot to add....we had connecting rooms as well. That really makes it seem a lot roomier in the small PC rooms.

Re: What building at Pop Century?
I stayed in 70's. It's only a 5 minute walk to the buses, but there was no noise from the main building or anything, as far as I noticed.

Re: What building at Pop Century?
We had conecting rooms in the 90's on the 3rd floor. We faced the pool and the 80's courtyard which was nice, and it was peacefull with little noise. I did not feel like it was too far from anything, I do like to walk tho. We could see some of the fireworks from Epcot at night and our mousekeeper was awesome.
