Here's my idea for DH's surprise!

Thank goodness I finally got all the resorts planned out. (You guys helped me more than you will ever know!)

Now I have to plan my way to spring the surprise on DH.

Here's what I thought of:

May 10: travel, check into Pop Century, dinner at 'Ohana

May 11: Magic Kingdom, dinner at Chef Mickey's or LTT

May 12: Studios & Epcot

May 13 (ANNIVERSARY DAY! ): check out of PC early, head to Animal Kingdom at open. Spend a few hours there...then casually "suggest" we head over to AKL to check it out and get some lunch.
Get to AKL, explore, get some lunch, then walk up to the front desk to "ask them a question" and proudly announce we're checking in!

DH will never see it coming!

I'm most concerned about the anniversary surprise at AKL. I may end up just telling him we're spending the rest of the week at POFQ, I don't know. Do you think that "surprise plan" will work?

I love your idea! I would let him think you are staying at PoFQ the rest of the week, then surprise him once y'all arrive at AKL!!!!

By the way, are y'all going to have your own car and move your own bags, or are you going to have Disney move them for you? If Disney is going to do it for you, you'll have to sneak down to bell services the night before to let them know where you want the bags moved so Ryan doesn't find out!

Thanks for that tip Heather! I didn't even think about our bags. I'm not sure yet if we will have our own car or not...depending on our budget, we may just use a towncar...but if all goes like we HOPE, we will rent a car. (So we can drive around Kissimmee and look for prospective places to move!!)

I guess I will wait and see what happens with that...

That's a good idea, to let him think we're staying at POFQ all the rest of the week. That will probably be a bit of a letdown, because he's probably expecting WL or the Contemporary or something...but like he said, he doesn't care where we stay...and when we check into AKL, it will be SO GREAT!!!

I wouldn't be able to keep it secret!! When I get excited about something, I just can't keep it in!! I hope you're better at this than I am!! If you ever feel like you can't keep it in, and you just HAVE to tell him...post here instead. we'll talk you put of it!!

UGH, you have NO IDEA how hard it's been to keep the secret ever since I decided how I was going to spring it on him! I keep wanting to say *anything*...even drop little hints...but I won't let myself!!

I CAN'T!!! I have to keep it a secret!!!

I started re-thinking my surprise plan, though, and realized I had originally planned our anniversary as a "no-park" day. So going to AK doesn't really work...but I figure the plan will still work out. We will probably sleep in at PC, then check out around 10:30 or 11, and I can just suggest we take a bus to AK & then over to AKL to check it out and eat lunch before we go do other things. As long as I can remain casual and aloof (*cough* yeah right!!!) it will all go as planned.
