All Star Sports Question

Has anyone stayed at the All Star Sports? We have always stayed at the AS Movies when we stay at a value because my son loves Toy Story. Anyhow, on our upcoming trip I decided to stay one more night and was told that AS Movies is booked as well as PC. Since my kids both play sports, I chose AS Sports over AS Music. It is only one night, but I just don't know anything about this hotel. What rooms are best? Are they the same as the other values? Anything else I should know? Thanks for your help. This trip is turning into a big ordeal, but I can't wait--3 weeks at Disney and Universal.

Re: All Star Sports Question

I have stayed all all three All-Star resorts and they are all basically the same - just with different decor. Your kids will love it.

Re: All Star Sports Question

The only additional suggestion I have is to pack a NERF football or similar soft ball. They have a large turf field in the football section. My kids liked throwing the football around there.

Re: All Star Sports Question

The All Star sports is a blast!! The rooms are small, but we are rarely in our room very much anyway! My son just went CRAZY over all the extra large sports stuff, and we all loved the baseball themed pool. Be sure to have a camera ready, because there are a ton of photo ops!

Sports is fine. As an added plus,it is the first of the All-Star resorts,so if the AS resorts are sharing buses, you will be picked up first.

...and dropped off first--which is WAY nice!! When you're ready to get back to your resort and crash, the less time you have to wait around on the bus, the better!

I think your kids will love ASp. I agree with everyone else...it's essentially the same. I haven't stayed in a room there, but I've looked around while staying at ASMo. I'd even like to stay there sometime, and I'm not much of a sports person! Especially if your kids play sports I think they'll adore it.
