Re: another annual pass question

The regular AP's do not have blackout dates - they are good 365/year. I believe it is the Florida passes that have blackout dates.

Re: another annual pass question

It depends on the kind of AP you have. Florida APs have blackout dates. Regular APs have none. PAPs have none. We were there from Friday before Thanksgiving to Monday after and came and went in and out of any park at any time. Joe

Re: another annual pass question

Only the Florida Residents Seasonal passes have black out dates. The reg Fl passes have no blackouts. And no, Thanksgiving was not blacked out last year. My DS has the Fl seasonal pass... its a bargan!!! It costs less then 4 days of reg tix, and I know he has used it way more then that :)

I think he/she (sorry!) may mean could you get the reservation rates that week. I have never tried, but I know that on days they list as blakcout dates, we've alwaysstill got the rate. So who knows. Everytime they list rates for AP's they say certain dates are blacked out, but I've never really heard of them not giving out the rates.

Re: another annual pass question

I'm sorry, I did mean blackout dates for discounts on resort stays. We are planning to stay at Fort Wilderness cabins twice this year, and when I called Disney travel she said the dates and rates were not posted past April, and that Thanksgiving week may be a blackout week for special rates for annual pass holders. Does anyone have an idea of how much the savings may be for the cabins with the annual pass discount, and if Thanksgiving has been blackedout previously. I hope you are right metalfan and that I can get a better rate anyway. Thanks for your help!

Re: another annual pass question

We have had the Florida Resident Seasonal Passes for 2 years. There are Blackout dates but not over Thanksgiving. The dates are for 2 weeks during Spring Break. Most of the Summer months (June through mid August). And the week before Christmas through New Years.
