Trip Got Longer - And Larger

Through a series of events I won't go into (Disney Magic, maybe?), our upcoming May trip just got longer by two days. We're leaving a day earlier and staying a day longer. I have contacted Mousketrips to add an extra day at the front of our stay at PC (our first stop) and a day at the end of our stay at Poly and to adjust the Park Tickets as well! My DD, her college roomie and I leave May 14!

My son (who is flying down May 19 with my wife) is bringing a friend. They were originally coming down May 20 when we checked into Poly, but we found a flight from STL to St. Petersburg/Clearwater for $99 each. We figured we could take a few hours out of the trip to go pick them up to save that much moolah).

HERE'S MY QUESTION FOR YOU DCers: I know our room at the Poly has a day bed and the friend can sleep there. But we aren't checking in there until May 20. In your opinion, do you think five can squeeze into a PC room for one night? I have stayed at the All-Stars and I know five would be a tight squeeze there, but I think for one night, one of the youngsters can sleep on the floor.

Any opinions??

Woo Hoo Baloo to You! Nothing like a longer trip in WDW.

I think that it would be no big deal if it is for one night. As long as you anticipate that you will be crammed in at PC and accept that then I say go for it. I mean it's only for one night.

6 at the PC for one night? Yes, have them sleep on the floor and know that it's only for a night. If it were more than that, it would be unbearable and uncomfortable, but for one single night, I say just do it. Bring sleeping bags and have them camp in...sardines in a can for sure, but it's only for a night. That will be their first day there and I hardly thing you will be hanging in the room anyway. Everyone wants to run the parks when getting there. My point: it's only a sleeping arrangement for one single night. No big deal.

Can't you just take the money they saved on airfare and put it towards a second room? They aren't that much at PC and then you would have 2 showers etc.

If it is 6 don't let Disney know and or ask for 6 keys, I think 4 is the limit on people in 1 room there.

Good point - but, heck, for one night it'll be fine. Like camping out. In fact, it might end up being one of those unforgettable moments of your trip. Just be careful where you step if you get up in the night.

No it's small enough for 4 adults but 6 that's crazy! Get a second room make it easier with showers and everything else!

Go for it. I think it would be fun. You could always rotate a little; bed one night, floor the next, kinda deal. I would keep it quiet around some of the CMs though.
