Oh guys I need some advise. I am trying to decide where I want to stay for our August trip.(I know its hot but can't take the kid out of school). We have stayed at WL and love it so I am not sure if we should stay there again or try something new. Here are my choices WL, BC, BWI or Poly.

Re: Where should I stay
How old is your kid? As much as the Poly is my favorite resort, I think with kids I would LOVE to stay at the BC just for the pool (and the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe!)
The BW's pool is pretty awesome, too, but obviously not on the same scale as the BC.If your kid is older, they might appreciate the Poly (and being able to see the castle while swimming in the pool!) The slide is awesome there, too. Pretty scary and great for bigger kids. Gee...I didn't help much, did I? I just provided arguments for each of your choices! Sorry... I think ALL of your choices are GREAT!

Re: Where should I stay
I agree with Kim and say go for the Beach Club. The pool is suppose to be awesome there. A suggestion I do have is try the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you loved the WL, you will definately love the AKL. I have stayed there twice now and it's my favorite tied with the WL. I liked them even more than the Polynesian.

Re: Where should I stay
I have a soft spot for the WL since we honeymooned there. While I would love to go back, I think I would probably want to try something different next time we stay on property. I think with the choices you've listed, I would choose the BC (for the pool!) or the Poly as my second choice. Dana has a good point about AKL - I've never actually stayed there, but on our last trip, we did visit to check it out and it is beautiful. Has the same sort of feel as WL, but with animals roaming in your backyard!

Re: Where should I stay
If you are traveling with kids who like pools, DEFINITELY pick Beach Club! AKL is also great! I think the Poly is overpirced (but thats just me). It's a gorgeous hotel, but doesn't really get me going. WL is my fav out of the group.

Re: Where should I stay
I would go with the Beach Club. It's a beautiful resort with an amazing pool. Only minutes away is Epcot, MGM-Studios, and Disney's Boardwalk. You can't beat the location. AKL seems nice as well, but a little out of the way. Poly seems to have a great theme and is really close to MK, and the WL seems to be wonderful. Any of them seem like great choices, but I'd go with the Beach Club.

Re: Where should I stay
i recommend the BC. it's great for kids and adults, too. the atmosphere, the decore, and everything about the BC is just wonderful for family. how old are your kids by the way? the pool has sand at the bottom, which is neat, and there's a pirate ship slide, which kids definitely love. BC is just a very short walk to Epcot and about a 5 minute ferry ride to MGM. also, the boardwalk is right across the water so you're just surrounded with choices.

Re: Where should I stay
Since AKL wasn't a choice. I would have to go with poly. I hate to try new things though. When I find a place I like I usually stay with it.

Re: Where should I stay
I would go with the Poly if your main park was going to be MK. Otherwise I'd go with the BC or BWI, that area is FANTASTIC!!

Re: Where should I stay
I vote for Beach Club as well. Great pool, great location and it's always good to try something new. You'll be at Disney so you can't go wrong. By the way - we like August. If you're there after around the 15th of the month you have the parks practically to yourself. We've done this for our last two trips because of my oldest DD being in High School now and it has been a pleasant surprise to find the low crowds. Have fun choosing and enjoy your trip!!

Re: Where should I stay
Steer clear of the Poly!!!!!! Stay at AKL, it's AWESOME! I've never stayed at the Boardwalk Inn, but that's my next stop.
