Walking distance?
I've been trying to figure out from the map we have . . . is there anything within walking distance of PC? Okay, I guess walking distance is all relative, isn't it? Let me rephrase the question. What's near PC that's worth walking to? (DS hates walking when he really has somewhere important to get to!
)

Re: Walking distance?
Thanks. That's what I was assuming from the map but I wasn't sure if there was stuff around there that wasn't on the map.

Re: Walking distance?
If you want to get techincal there are very few resorts with anything you can walk to outside of the resort.

Yep. Staying there the end of March and REALLY looking forward to it. I've read so many cool trip reports, I'm hoping to try doing one myself . . .

ALL of the Epcot resorts are walking distance to a whole bunch of stuff, including Epcot, MGM and the Boardwalk, not to mention one of the miniature golf courses. Also, the Contemporary is walking distance to MK. I guess the disneyguy's comment is quite true for the values and the moderates. For us, we maximize walking by taking every opportunity to walk between MGM, Boardwalk and Epcot. We love walking. Bear in mind that WDW is the size of some of the largest cities in the world. There's a reason it takes nearly 30 minutes on a bus to travel between MK and AK. So, walking anywhere from the Values or Moderates would never be practical, even if there WERE sidewalks.

Re: Walking distance?
You could always walk around the lake. I'm not sure if you can go all the way around or not since they have contruction on the other side, but it is a nice short walk
