Any discounts for end of April?

Have to complete my reservation for the last week in April. We have a party of 8 coming from California and I think we will be at OKW or Saratoga. But what are these codes you talk about? Are there any out I can use? So sad no dicounts. Not even AAA if I book a package. Right now for six of us in a 2br Villa, with premium passes, seven nights, and dining option it is $7022. Thoughts....

Unfortunately we still haven't seen any discount codes for WDW yet. You can still go ahead and book, and if and when they do come out it is no problem to change your reservation to reflect any discounts available.

Historically,discount codes for April17-July 4 have come out around March 9,so we have almost 2 weeks or so to wait,hopefully,for discount codes to come out.

Have you thought of callibg Disney and asking them if you have a code attached to your name/address in their system. I did this last week and got 45% off at the Poly from May 19-28!! Practically cut my bill right in half.

Will there be 6 of you staying in the 2 bedroom, or 8?

If it is just six, have you considered staying in the Cabins at Fort Wilderness? I just priced that and it was $5700 for 7 nights premium passes and dining! Then, with the discount, you'll save even that much more!

Tell me more about this. I read about this tip on another thread and when I tried it I was told the only discounts available at that time were AP and AAA. Why do you think some people have a code attached to their name? I need to try that again.

Has this worked for anyone else???

These discount codes are only on post cards sent to people randomly.
Just talked to a CM (trying to see if there were any codes out there for May), which there are not. She said the discounts just go to April.
Infact, still cannot get my 8 nights all at CSR. Have 4 at CSR, and 4 nites at Riverside. I will keep trying, especially to get my room rates down, that is as soon as the AP's come out. Hope that's soon.

Also thanks for the checking into FT. Wilderness. I like but the family say a little too rustic and no pool. But I do appricate the advice.

Might still be a little rustic for you, but there is most definitely a pool. All Disney resorts have pools.

When I said April, I should have put down discounts only to the 16th of April. I remember last year discounts for our times that we needed came out on March 9th. That was easy to remember, because that is my birthday. So hopefully, I can get a nice present by bringing down my room rate again on my birthday!!! Wishful thinking on my part!!!
