WDW Rooms Completely Booked

I just called about a room for an 8 night stay from Thanksgiving day through the beginning of December. The CM told me that they are completely booked other than a few rooms at the Beach Club which would be $375.00 per night.
As a stock holder I guess that's a good thing but a little bit of a surprise.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

Well, Thanksgiving is a very busy time, but I'm surprised they didn't have any availability at all. People cancel all the time, so keep trying.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

I just checked on their website for 10 nights from 11/23 to 12/03 and they have rooms at PC and AKL ( I only checked theses 2).
You may want to phone again or book via the website.

Just tried CBR $134 per night for 8 nights on those days. I would try again or go online.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

In addition to my last post, I've just checked on the UK site and I can stay at all the resorts for 21 days from the 11/20. It must have been a glich at Disneys end or the CM didn't know what they were doing.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

If you still strike out on getting a room, go through Mouseketrips.com

They were able to get me discounted rooms last November, even though the CM's (I called three times) told me there were no more available rooms at the discounted rate. Besides, Mouseketrips is also a sponsor of this website AND they provide excellent service!

Like you said, that's good news as a stockholder! But as a guest, not such good news, eh?

I didn't realize how crowded it was around Thanksgiving. There are lots of options, though. I would also suggest Mouseketrips. Good luck!

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

I was just checking rooms at the Poly for May 13th and all they have left is concierege rooms. And WL has no standard rooms left for that same week. Looks like they are filling up fast this year.

I think the Magic Your Way plan is working for them. The way they advertise it, it certainly is making all those people who thought WDW was too expensive take a second look at it.

Yeah, the irony is that if you buy all the options (e.g., no expiration) on the MYW tickets to make them equivalent to the old multi-day, park-hopper passes, they are just as expensive (except for long stays).

They've marketed them very well.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

yes, the marketing is amazingly well done! I've heard several people say they would like to consider WDW because of the pricing.

Re: WDW Rooms Completely Booked

I did call back later that same day and amazingly they have rooms available at all the resorts. I booked ASM and was even able to get a AAA discount. We were considing the Dining Option but we have to buy park tickets to get that plan. We have tickets as my husbund is a former CM. I guess people with APs can't get the dining option either.
So much for Magic My Way!

Exactly, buzzfan!! I know that I could outspend very easily the value of the plan, but as an AP'er,I am discriminated against.
