Poly question
Is is true you can walk to the TTC from the Polynesian ?
That would make it one of the best resorts, transportation wise to stay at. Is that the case? Thanks!!

Re: Poly question
I wish I could afford an MK resort! I've toured each of them (except SoG), and they are all so wonderful!

Re: Poly question
At one time I was very skeptical about Poly. Well, we had dinner at OHana's and I was impressed. I think they should give the exterior a face-lift. A great place to visit and stay.

Re: Poly question
I can't believe that its not mentioned anywhere (or maybe I missed it) in the guidebooks or websites.
I guess that makes it one of the best resorts to stay at if you are interested in best transportation options.

Re: Poly question
Buzz, you're right...it does make the Poly one of the absolute best when it comes to transportation! The walk to the TTC is comfortable and pleasant. Really takes a load off your mind to be able to get anywhere that easily.

Re: Poly question
That would be the main reason I'd stay there. I'm sure the rooms are great, but I'm one of those people who only need a place to sleep. But still, I can't see spending four or five times the cost of a value. I'd rather sleep cheap, and stay longer. Now if some one else was paying......that's a whole other story.

And I argree the Poly is getting a bit long in the tooth, but you have a certain amount of people who love it. We go just for 'Ohana and the Kona Cafe. But lots of people love the Poly

Re: Poly question
I don't know, I think the INTERIOR needs a major facelift, tummy tuck, etc.
