Here are my pictures of PC at night.

Great pictures! I am going to show them to my 3 year old tonight. We are staying at the POP next weekend (for the first time). Where are the potato head statues on the property? Near which building? I think he would get a kick out of seeing those in person.

Did you like the resort? I am not thrilled with the idea of staying at a value (I love the POR but the relatives joining us didnt want to spend the extra $ to stay there) but agreed to it. How far is it from Animal Kingdom? Was the hotel clean? Food ok? etc

Nice pics! I definately like the look of POP more at night(I didn't really notice too much at 11:30pm when we walked to our room from the bus..lol) I just didn't care for the look of the decor during the day.

The CM's were very nice and check in took 10 min at 1:30pm. We were put in the 80's in the bldg right behind Roger Rabbit.

The rooms were small(in my opinion) but no smaller than a basic motel type room. (we stayed in POFQ and the Pop rooms are smaller/one sink/no curtain seperating the sink area from the bed area(which is a big deal to me b/c I like to get up earlier and get ready w/o the lights waking up the kids)/no fridge/and *I* thought the bed *I* had was as hard as a brick(the pillows were lovely though)

I didn't eat the food or go to Animal Kingdom from there but as far as clean..our room was very clean. I really liked the digital air conditioning panel..you could set it based on what degree you wanted it(though mine didn't go below 68 degrees). Much better than the AC at POFQ!

Check out the wall paper in the bathroom too..that was my favorite part of the room.

The Potato Head statues are at the entrance to the 80's and 90's triangle of buildings which is to the south of the resort. The entire resort is very, very clean. It is maticulously taken care of. I got the feeling that Disney is very proud of this resort. When you look at it you just can't believe it is a value resort. We stayed in the 70's building which we asked for when we checked in. The CM gave us the corner room on the 1st floor nearest the central area called the Classic Years which was incredible. The room had a refrigerator in it which we didn't even ask for. The rooms are very functional, fairly small and the beds are allright. The Check-in and Guest Service areas do get crowded as the day goes on, best to go there very early or later. The food court was very good with an occasional problem like maybe a smaller portion than normal. Our Disney Dinning card came in very handy saving 20 percent on all the food there. Again, the food court will get busy quickly in the morning, and afternoon. Oh and my DD loved the pools! All in all, it is a very beautiful resort that gets very crowded but we really liked it!

I think it is closest to MGM and Epcot, next AK and then MK
