Innertubes in the pool

OK.....here one I cant seem to find the answer to. Are you allowed to use innertubes in the resort pool. DD cant swim yet and though she will be taking some swim lessons before go she really enjoys playing with her innertube, had a blast playing in the pool last year when we stayed off site. Any restrictions on these type of floatation devices.

Re: Innertubes in the pool

As long as it is not huge I think it is ok!
We had our youngest use one of those speedo vests to swim last year and they did not say anything! You could try one of those they are great. It has really been a great help in helping my 3 to learn to swim.

Re: Innertubes in the pool

Tubes are not allowed by swim vests are at all pools. The only place you can use a tube is at The Yatch and Beach club pool due to the water way they have.

You can get a free life vest to use at the resorts for your length of stay. I think you have to leave a drivers liscence or creditcard imprint, but there is no charge to use it.

Re: Innertubes in the pool

The first day we were there we had a small tuble for DD, but the lifeguard would not let her use it. He told us to go to the concierge and get a vest. They're free, I think you only need to leave your room #, and you can hold on to it for you length of stay.

Queensmama,
The resorts have great kiddie pools. 4yo DS much preferred the kiddie pool at PC over the "grown up" pool.

Re: Innertubes in the pool

When my daughter was 4 we bought a special swimsuit at walmart for about $20. It was a one piece suit that had floatie stuff (that's a technical description, huh?) sewn inside it. When she put it on it looked sort of barrel-like, but she didn't seem to mind. Anyway, it was great. I never had to worry about a proper fit for a lifevest or the lifevest being taken off. It gave her enough flotation to jump off diving boards and go down slides and took a lot of worrying away from me. They make them for boys or girls. I would highly recommend them. When I was a lifeguard we never let people put those water wings on their kids because they sometimes deflate, slide off.
