Mousketrips

I just went to DisneyWorld in Oct '04 and booked through the DisneyWorld website. I have heard many people speak about the Mousketrips service. Has anyone here used this service? I decided to take a plunge and had their service book a reservation for my upcoming Oct '05 trip. I did receive a confirmation number but when I login to the DisneyWorld website, the confirmation number isn't recognized. I contacted Mousketrips and they stated this is normal and since they are booking the service, I will make all transactions through them.

Does this sound correct for anyone who has used this service???

Thanks...

Re: Mousketrips

What they are telling you is 100% correct. I have booked my last two trips through them. You aren't able to access your reservation information because you are booking through a travel agent. They would have to make any changes etc for you. You are in excellent hands with mouseketrips...no worries.

Re: Mousketrips

Thanks Dana,

I was worried for a bit :-).

Do you know if they are able to book PS's and tickets to MNSSHP if you provide them with a date?

No, you have to do your own PS's. I don't think any agents book PS's. As for the MNSSHP, I would call and ask. I am not certain. No worries about them. They are excellent. I promise.

Re: Mousketrips

dwoodz, I took the plunge for our upcoming trip. We have always used a travel agent (Liberty Travel) and heard how much people have saved either by booking it all on their own or going through Mouseketrips. I have been working with Keith who is absolutely great. I was able to choose what air and car I wanted and he booked them for me.

Do not worry, they are great to deal with!!

Re: Mousketrips

Mouseketrips - Both Keith and Scott absolutely ROCK! Our vacation in October '04 was booked through them. The trip was originally scheduled for March '04 but had to be postponed for medical reasons. They were very patient with all my questions, and extremely professional and competent. We will be booking through them again!

We just booked thru Mouseketrips. Keith was great! He was very prompt in responding to our requests and suggested things that I had never even thought about. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Yep. Just let your agent know when and where you'd like to eat, and what night you'd like to attend MNSSHP and they'll get you taken care of.

We are using Mousketrips for our May trip and Keith booked all our PSes last week. I emailed a list to him and he took care of everything. He is very patient (I usually do this myself and I can be kind of anal about it). I am very impressed. We are switching resorts in the middle of the 10-day stay and he has booked everything, including our room requests, etc. I can't bellieve how easy it has gone so far.

So far, so good!

Re: Mousketrips

We are also using Keith for our upcoming trip -- he has been absolutely WONDERFUL!! The day the discounts came out he was in the process of switching mine even before I emailed to ask about it! He did offer to make my PS's but since we change our minds and switch so much I decided not to put him through that torture. HOWEVER< while many other DCers were on hold for HOURS and HOURS trying to get the AP discounts applied to their ressies...I just got dressed and went to work and later got an email from Keith confirming my discounted rate! That was worth it's weight in GOLD (and costed me NOTHING!) I say Mouseketrips is the BEST!!!!!!!!!

Re: Mousketrips

We didn't know about Mouseketrips for our last trip to WDW and made reservations through our local travel agent. That confirmation number didn't work on the Disney Site either, for the obvious reasons. But I called Disney myself, on their 800#, and made all the PSs I wanted.
And next time in 2006 we will definitely be using Mousketrips

That is so awesome. I wasn't aware they did PS's. I didn't ask either. I saw turnwrench's post about it in this thread. Just goes to show you that they are THE best for Disney travel.
