Disney's Vero Beach Resort
Just wondering if anyone has been to the beach resort . I was thinking about looking into a weekend there. The Peter Pan theme is right up my ds's alley.
Would love to hear of any experiences at the resort... |

Re: Disney's Vero Beach Resort
We've drove out to Vero Beach last year. It's our home resort and we had never been there, so we just drove out for the afternoon. They were nice enough to give us a tour. There's a main lodge and several smaller buildings. The layout is similar to The Beach Club. The design is "beachy". There are two restaurants We ate at the casual one there and the food was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and told us alot about the various activities. The pool area is very nice and there's a lot of kid's activities and a spa. I couldn't really get a sense of what it would be like on a beautiful day. It was cool and cloudy when we were there. What struck me was the serenity of it. Very relaxed and quiet. We hope to plan a weekend there on our next trip. Just add it to the end of our WDW as a nice quiet, relaxed end to our vacation. It must be wonderful just to relax on the beach.
