Spas

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th Anniversary and were thinking of using the spa at Saratoga on our next visit. Has anyone ever been to any of the spas there? What did you think of them?
I thought it would be a nice surprise for my husband and will be a great idea after the running around at all the parks.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Spas

I didn't use the spa at SSR, but had a massage at the Swolphin spa during MF with my friends. I wholeheartedly recommend it! What a fabulous treat it was. And I'm sure it would be even nicer done after tramping around the parks all day. We went before setting out for the day.

Re: Spas

I have not been to the Spa at Saratoga, but my friends and I had a "tired leg massage" at the Grand Floridian Spa on the morning of our last day in WDW and it was AMAZING. You know how run down and tired your feet and legs get after a vacation trekking through WDW? Well, this massage made us all feel like new!

The spa itself was really nice so I am sure the one at Saratoga is nice too.

Re: Spas

Sounds like most of us haven't used the SSR spa......but I had a pedicure at the Grand Floridian spa, and would highly recommend visiting the spa for ANYTHING! They treated me like an absolute queen, even though I was having one of the cheapest treatments available.

BTW...the pedicure is much more than toenail paint; they do the complete exfoliating/buffing of your feet, with a foot & leg massage...and a seaweed treatment, where they cover your legs in the treatment and then wrap a layer of tinfoil around them. It creates this fantastic, tingling cleansing feeling! It is WONDERFUL. And the chair has massage features, and they keep your cup filled with ice water as much as you like. It's like being royalty!

Re: Spas

I too have not visited the SSR spa, but have been to the Grand Floridian Spa!! It was the BEST thing I ever did for myself! My feet could not go one more step when I arrived on my 4th morning to receive my pedicure/tired leg message. Just like KarenWDWCP said it made me "feel like new". I would love to get a real message next time and take advantage of some of the other facilities. The spa is definitly a new part of my trip from now on.
I wholeheartedly recommend it!!!

Re: Spas

No need to convince me to go, I'm a spa lover. Who's treating? In all honesty I dont think a girl and even some guys could go wrong with a visit to the spa.
