Contemporary Rehab?
Does anyone have any info on the rehab thats going on?? I know it was supposed to have started, but when we were there I didn'treally notice anything, atleast nothing like they have over at the Poly for their rehab. Just wish someone knew.

I have been doing the Contempory FAQ thread and have been searching for any info on the rehab.
I have found nothing solid, just rumors. Guess I'll have to take a research trip over there if I don't find anything out before we get there in May.

I know disneyboy (A Comtemporary CM) is the one that announced it to us, but he hasn't posted in a while.

I hope this is fact and not just rumor. They seriously need to do some work over there. I hope they restore that resort and make it better. I have heard so many negative reviews on it. Wouldn't it be great to see that resort back in the limelight again? I would stay there for sure, but not until they do some work on it.

I am with you on that one Dana, although seeing it at night when we went to Chef Mickey's was really cool. It really made me have some appreciation for the most unliked resort on property.

i agree it could use some work, but i still really like the contemporary. its one of my favorite resorts

Nothing has been announced yet, but I would expect the rehab to start within 6 months. I would really enjoy a DVC wing at the Contemporary as rumored.

I used to love the Snack and Video Game center..that was like the greatest thing ever when I was a kid :) Even today, I still love the place. Everytime we stay in Disney, we always eat at California Grill (at night...and make sure to get a window seat for the Water Pageant and the MK fireworks) and always get a few drinks at the Outer Rim afterwards. Last 2 times we've went, I've taken my two cousins to the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I would love for them to do some rehab on the place...I'd love to stay there again.
