How do you sleep?

How does anyone get to sleep hours before their flights to WDW? I need to get up at 2:30 am and should be sleeping but I can't. I am took excited. Note-my 10 y/o DD is fast asleep as is DBF.

Try a warm glass of milk or a really boring show on TV (which is what's on about every channel right now!). Have a great time on your magical trip!

Last week in April when the kids have spring break. Hope some of crowds will have thinned out by then. Will you be there for Easter?

Easter will be my first day home. I kept my DD out of school this week, not realizing this would be a busy week at WDW. I went last year during Feb vacation break and it was crazy busy. Hoping for better results staying on site.

Maybe this week won't be as busy as next week. Have a great time. I wish I could give you some of my sleepiness now, cause my eye lids are having a hard time staying open. When you're up since 6:30am running around all day, exhaustion sets in about this time. Even the cup of caffeine an hour ago didn't do anything. I can drink a cup of coffee and still go to sleep an hour later! Maybe someone else can give you a better sleep remedy...if you're still awake to see it. Have fun. Will look for your TR when you return. Happy Easter! 1 sheep...2 sheep...3 sheep.............

I never can sleep the nite before a trip either, especially one to WDW! I'm always afraid the alarm clock won't go off or something. I check it about 6 times and toss and turn all night, usually up way before it's time for it to go off. nervous energy,I guess. Have a wonderful trip!! You can sleep on the plane.

My trip is 60 days away and I can't wait. I'll be bouncing off the walls the day before my trip. I usually try to watch a movie before I go to bed. Really, whatever works. God Speed!

Karliebug- funny you should mention that about the alarm clock. I think we will set EVERY alarm in the house the morning we have to awake for our trip.

LOL. Trust me, falling asleep is practically impossible before a Disney trip!

You are definitely not the only one.

Last year before we went to Disneyland, I took a prescription sedative...and it STILL didn't work...DH and I stayed up almost all night blabbering about how excited we were!

Well, I guess you're having fun in WDW right now Belle...I'm jealous!

I never fall asleep the night before we leave! Then on the plane, I can't sleep either! We usually hit the ground running as they say, so our first day is a full one of enjoying the MK! It's only that night, well after everyone else has fallen asleep that I finally do the same!

Must be something "magic" about Disney that can give me the strength and willpower to stay awake that long!

We always take a 7 a.m. flight, so we leave the house at 4:45 a.m. I learned a long time ago that I won't be able to fall asleep, so I don't even bother to try anymore! It is SO EXCITING!!!
