Icon5 Smoking Areas at the Resorts ?

Are there smoking areas at the resorts? And how would we find them. We are staying at CBR but we are eating at a couple of others. Is there a smoking area near the pool at CBR? I don't smoke but DBF does. I just want to be prepared to answer things like that. LOL

Re: Smoking Areas at the Resorts ?

You'll have no problem finding areas at the resorts, just ask at check-in.
The parks would be even easier as the are listed in the guidemap.

Ask the first CM your near, they know where they are.

I just wanted to say that I applaud the fact that you are being sensitive to others around you by going to the smoking area. I see so many people walking around with a cigarette, and I have bad asthma and allergies to smoke. Thanks for being sensitive to others!!

Re: Smoking Areas at the Resorts ?

I am allergic to cigarette smoke and my DS has a heart condition so my fiance is always considerate of us and others. We all wish he would quit but I know he has to do it in his own time. It's not an easy thing to quit. I wish that every smoker was considerate about this too. I think it should be personal choice to smoke or not but being responsible about it is the right thing to do for everyone.

Re: Smoking Areas at the Resorts ?

Like the others said, smoking areas are on all the guide maps for the parks and you can easily find ashtrays at the resorts. They are either outside or in the smoking rooms. You are not allowed to smoke in any of the restaurants and lounges except for a few and I am not even certian you can do that anymore. As a responsible smoker, I thank your DBF for using the same consideration I always use.

Re: Smoking Areas at the Resorts ?

I, as an asthmatic (and a person with radiation fibrosis of the lungs) and a parent of two asthmatics also thank your DBF for his consideration.

I am celebrating because my county just enacted a county wide smoking ban, so all restaurants and bars are completely smoke free (so I can go now!)
