Where should we stay??

OK me and my family are doing the final decision on where to stay and we're having a LOT of trouble choosing. We all want to do different things at different resorts, so we finally said Beach Club 3 nights and GF 4 nights or 7 nights at BC or GF. I'v never stayed at BC but I have stayed at GF and LOVED it. We're not sure about the split stay because we only have one non-park day and switching resorts would take a lot of our free time away that day. So what do you think?

Disney will move your bags to your new resort for you!!! It's free and easy! (We are moving 3 times on our next trip!) The only thing you'll have to do is check out at one in the morning and then check in at the new resort.

We had no problem when we had a 'split stay'. We went from Contemporary to Wildnerss Lodge in about an hour - really. We checked out of Contemporary took our bags with us - We did splurge on a taxi for the trip over to WL - checked into WL about 9AM and our room was ready!! Took our luggage up and off we were to the parks. It was early December and not a crowded time of year, so maybe this made it easier, but we had no problems.
My original plan was to have Disney transfer our luggage over and we would go to the parks and come back to WL around 3pm, check in, get our luggage and then go off again. But when I woke up that morning I thought I would rather know that our luggage was already at WL and we would at least be checked in. We could always come back to see what room we were assigned later. It all worked out.

Yep, moving is easy. We are also moving 3 times on our next trip. We are going to get up and call to have our bags moved then hit a park. When we are ready to take our afternoon break we will go to our new resort and check in.

Both of the resorts you have picked are great. Decide where you are going to spend most of you time. GF is near the MK and BC is near Epcot and MGM.

Moving isn't hard - but it is time spent that you could be relaxing by the pool. Although my favorite location is definitely on the monorail by the Seven Seas Lagoon, it is always a good idea to try something new - you never know - BC could be your new favorite!!

Moving seems easy (I have never done it).....I would probaly split stay also.....BC and GF sound like a great combo to me!

Both are great resorts. If you have kids, consider Beach Club. The Storm-A-Long Bay pool is the largest pool in Disney World at 3 1/2 acres. They will love it.

We are moving on our next trip, from WL to AKL. We have been told that it will all be done for us! More time in the Parks!!!!

I'm going to go with the majority and say split your stay! Double the fun!

Moving shouldn't take much (if any) time out of your non-park day at all...just pack up the night before, have Disney move your bags for you, and voila! You're all ready to go!

I think your choices sound GREAT...I would LOVE

to stay at either the BC or GF.

I am not a huge fan of the "split stay", but we've never tried it. Lots of others here have, and have noting but good things to say.
Seems like the split stay is a god choice for your family, since you are having a tough choice in choosing.

And I don't think you could pick two better resorts to split than BC and GF.

I didn't like the split stay when I did it in January. Disney makes it easy enough and it isn't a hassle, I just hated packing up and unpacking again. I'm lazy I guess. Anyway, to compromise, you should plit your stay between two resorts so everyone is happy.

We just got back from our trip and we split trip all the time, same as Feb trip.
Planning on it for our Thanksgiving trip as well.

Very easy, and you get to enjoy a couple places that you love to go to!

I've also stayed at the Floridian and loved it, we're going to stay at the BC for a night or 2 next month, but I haven't stayed there yet. I also HATE to pack and unpack, so I vote that you do all 7 nights at the BC (you'll also save money) because you've never been there before.
