Pop Century Food Court

We leave in about 3 weeks and are going to be staying at the PC. We usually bring some food, like pop tarts, cereal, etc.. I thought I had seen where someone mentioned that there are toasters in the food court. Is there and are there any microwaves too? Does Disney mind you using the toasters in the food court for your own food? Thanks

I used the toaster every morning at the ASMovies, and never felt like I wasn't allowed to. It can save you a lot of money.

The toasters are located in the area near the tables - the same place where you fill your cups at or get utensils, creamers, butter, etc. I cant imagine anyone being stopped from using them.

All the things you are talking about using the toasters on are sold at the Pop anyway, so I don't see how they would even know where you got them. Besides, you are paying for the room and use of all things offered at the resort in your price. The toaster is a part of this price so use it.

They have microwaves, too. We microwaved mac and cheese for my son. Watch the timing. It seemed to get the food hot very quickly.

If you're driving and taking your own food, why not take a toaster with you. DW & I did and it worked great. Next trip I might even take a small microwave.

You can use the toasters for your own food..I have...but I dont know if they have regular 'slot' toasters...the one i used was one where you lay your bread or whatever down and it takes it down and around and your food comes out of the bottom on a little convayer belt or something...it was a lot of fun to play with!

Re: Pop Century Food Court

We used the toaster oven and the microwave at PC. One of the times we were heating the 'meal in a bowl' mac and cheese thing (pretty technical name, huh? ) and one of the CM's asked what it was. We thought she was going to tell us we couldn't use the microwave for that. She thought it was pretty cool and said her daughter would like it and wished us a good day!

My kids are constantly wanting snacks, and they love popcorn. I used the microwaves at PC and never had a problem.

Re: Pop Century Food Court

Thanks everyone, I have never thought of the microwaved mac-n-cheese. My daughter's all time fav food is mac-n-cheese. That will definitely be with the pop tarts and popcorn. Thanks

You made popcorn at PC? Where was I?

*Contemplates what else my wife did without me at WDW.*
