Boardwalk Inn Boardwalk view

Hi everybody! I'm sure the answers are here somewhere..but I just don't have the time or the patience to find them (sorry Mickey!)
I need information (quick, quick!) about the Boardwalk Inn Boardwalk view rooms. Are they standard waterview rooms, deluxe, or concierge? Can I request this room or will I need to get an upgrade?
I saw a review in Review Central that was very helpful to me. However, that review was anonymous. I need help deciding! Someone will be in the room with my little boy for some portion of 14-16 hours every day (he sleeps from 7-7 and takes an afternoon nap). Our first priority this trip is relaxation! Remember, when baby is happy everyone is happy.

Thanks for the help!:)

The rooms that face the boardwalk on the Inn side are simply water view rooms. You will need to request a boardwalk view though prior to check in. Shouldn't be a problem getting one, but there aren't too many of them, so there is a possibility that they will all be full.

Thanks, Mickey! So, you're saying that I will need to book a waterview room, and ask for a room overlooking the boardwalk.

Any suggestions for a floor, or room that will have a good view of Illuminations?

I believe that all the rooms in the Inn face the wrong direction to see Illuminations, they all face the Swan/Dolphin area rather than EPCOT. There are some rooms in the Inn that are Garden View rooms that face EPCOT, and you can see the Eiffel Tower during the day, and parts of Illuminations at night.

In all honesty, Illuminations is difficult to see from anywhere except from around the World Showcase.
