We have booked again! But don't know where to stay!

Well what can I say, Last night I phone our travel agent here in the UK as I had received the last WDW holiday info from them in the post that morning, and what do you know not only are we going this year (12/16/05 - 01/06/06) But DH, DD (8) and myself are going again on December 1st 2006!!

Eldest DD has to stay in school as it is the run up to exams!

(she is at boarding school).
So my problem is where to stay? As there is only the 3 of us we are not limited to beds or space. We will have AP's so hopefully a discount too! We want to spend about $100 - $150 per night Including discount (if any). We are staying at WL and AKL this trip so somewhere different would be nice. We have never stayed in a Mod so we are thinking about that too!
So, to all my DC friends, please help any suggestions would be great!

CBR is one of the best mod. resorts. Some people tend to lean more towards POFQ. Its a good place but the rooms are much smaller. If you get to stay at CBR, try to get Jamica or Aruba with lagoon view.

Off the subject a little here. Do you guys in the UK watch American baseball? I know alot of people here in the states tend to watch soccer(aka football).

If you want to stay at a moderate, I would recommend POR for sure. I have stayed their twice and really loved it!

We love CBR!!! There is so much to do and it is such a beautiful resort. There is a main pool at OPR and each island has a quiet pool with laundry, a beach, hammocks, and playgrounds. The grounds are beautiful and the buildings are brightly colored to resemble an island theme. There is a food court, gift shop, arcade and outside bar. Plus there is an island to go discovering and plenty of water activities. The resort is close to EPCOT, MGM, Boardwalk, DTD and TL.

Your family will love this resort!

I am going to chime in here. We have stayed at CBR and absolutely loved it. The rooms are a bit larger than the other moderates, the theming is wonderful without being overdone, the entire environment is beautiful. We stayed in building 32 in Trinidad North, and it was very nice to be close to OPR and the main pool.

We plan on returning to CBR in October (as much as I would love to try another resort, we are in love with CBR so :P ). We will likely request a room in either Martinique or Trinidad North again.

You may be able to score a good AP discount to the Swolphin in that price range.

We've stayed at All Stars Sports, and Pop Century and staying at WL and AKL this christmas coming up.

I would choose POR or POFQ. I didn't care for CBR or CSR...too spread out to enjoy.

POR would be my choice too. DH and I have stayed here 3 times now in both Alligator Bayou and Magnolia and each has it's own charm. Very picturesque, great food court and perfect ambiance.
BTW...you lucky thing! Enjoy!!!
