I'm sorry to say that is not true. BUT...you can sneak in (except at the Yacht & Beach Club...they are pretty strict).
I have done this on many occasions, especially at Port Orleans. The best part is that the pools supply towels and have bathrooms near the pools. Plus, they have lockers. If you can get to the resort by bus, then you can change your clothes right at the pool. Mickey, correct me if I'm wrong. ![]()

hey MnM Peanut, welcome to Disney Central! I remember there being a thread about Pool hopping a while ago, if you do a search on the site forum for pools Im sure it will come up. Im not sure wiether disney Permits other resort guests for using other pools. I do know that if they are, they arent strict about it at all with the exception of the DVC resorts like Trish stated. In my opinion I dont think it really matters, The pools are all open, so there is no one there to check what resort you are from. And all you are doing is swimming right?? Whats the big deal? lol. Your daughter is gonna have a great time!! I also have a list of pools I gotta visit:o . lol.
Joe:)

The official rule is if you are staying in a Disney Vacation Club resorts (Old Key West, Boardwalk Villas, etc...) you are able to use any pool on property with the exception of Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club. If you are just staying at a normal Disney resort, you can only use the pool at your resort, and the pool of a sister resort if available. (ie. the Port Orleans resorts have two main pools. )
However, they didn't use to be too strict about pool hopping, but in the last year, we were stopped at the gate every time we tried to hop, but we got in since we are DVC members. I saw plenty of people that were turned away. I have also seen many people who were able to get in as well. I don't think it is a big deal, since Stormalong Bay was really the only pool they were having trouble with, and it is now closed to everyone except the guests at that resort.
