Our first time at a disney resort.

We want to stay at a moderate resort. We were thinking Caribbean Beach. What do you all think?

Re: Our first time at a disney resort.

Caribbean Beach is a great resort - but why don't you give us a few more details - how many in your party, ages of kids, any special interests, etc?

Re: Our first time at a disney resort.

I think just staying at a Disney Resort. Espeically a moderate, you will have a wonderful experience.

Theming, service, the pools, the transportation, and the on site perks will make this an experience you will never forget.

Try to take advantage of EMH at least once. Morning hours are less crowded but 3 hours at night is nice for us non-morning people.

Have Fun!

I think you will be very happy with CBR, I have stayed there several times and we really enjoyed it. I also want to try POR, it looks so beautiful in the pictures I have seen.

I haven't stayed at CBR myself, but I have stayed at POR, and it's wonderful, I thought the rooms were great.

Re: Our first time at a disney resort.

BTW... I haven't stayed at CBR, but I know people who have and they rave about it.

All Disney Resorts are great in one way or another. You can't hardly lose, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Re: Our first time at a disney resort.

4 people in our party. Two adults and two children. They will be 5 (girl) and almost 2 (boy) at the time. Thanks for all the responses so far.

Re: Our first time at a disney resort.

We have stayed at CBR, it was great. We prefer Port Orleans French Quarter, because it also has great theming but its a lot less spread out. Also, its nice to have access to the boats for transportation to DTD for an alternative to the busses.

I agree completely. With children 5 and 2, POFQ is ideal. It's not as big as the other resorts, everything is within easy walking distance. Kids love the Sea Serpent pool and the trip to DTD on the boat is great. CBR is beautiful too, but with little kids, I'd go with POFQ.

We haven't stayed at a mod yet, but would pick POR if we did, for what we have read and herd about it.

We love POR, especially the Magnolia Bend area . I agree that the water launch option to DTD is a wonderful option. Have a great time

You may have a point. I do not see any Mods or even Values in Buzz's signature.

Wwe did CBR in March 2004 with DS (5) and DD (1 month shy of 3) and we had a great time. Everyone always says that CBR is too spread out, but we loved it that way.
