BC's Sandcastle Club

Has anyone used the Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club (or any of the resort kid clubs for that matter)?

I told my 7 year old about it today and he actually jumped up and down and said he really wanted to go. We have dinner booked for the Flying Fish one night so it seems like a great fit. We will be close by just in case and the little kids get a little down time.

We did one night, or tried to. We called down and told them we were coming, so we could go to dinner over on the boardwalk. When we go down there, there weren't any other kids, and they had just finished dinner (doesn't take long with no kids). We took them back up to the Villa, and my oldest just watched them while we go pizza over at Spoodles. We were late to our PS, but not a big deal.

It looked cool, and would be fun if there were kids there.

Thanks, Mickey. I hope during the summer there are a few other kids there for our little ones to play with. Neither of the kids are shy so mixing and fitting in shouldn't be a problem, I am just over-protective and question leaving my DS with someone I have never met.

We left DS at the Neverland Club at the Poly. He had just turned 9 then. My friends also left their two DD's at the same time. Even though they played separately when they were there (girls have cooties at that age), he liked it so much that he begged us to go out again so he could return. I think he spent most of his time playing the video games they had there.

I haven't ever used that club, but have used the one at the AKL and the WL. DD loved going to the clubs for a little bit and meeting other kids. The one time it was only her and another boy. They had a blast. Sometimes the kids need a break from us adults too..lol I'm sure that club is just as cool and well ran as the ones I tried. Definately make a reservation so your spot is secure. I would imagine that the clubs may be a bit more crowded the time you are going to be there being July and all. Hope he has fun.

Thanks guys! I have booked the kidsat the Sandcastle Club for our grown up night out. Dana, I agree, sometimes the kids need a break form us to regroup and relax a little bit.

My ds was 4 last year at the Simba's Clubhouse. He still asks when we can go back to WDW so he can go there. He loved the video games, too.
