Re: discounts

Welcome to DC!!

Nope, no discounts for December as of yet. Check www.mousesavers.com daily.

As far as resorts go I would need to know what your budget is (value, moderate or deluxe) and how much time you plan on spending in your room each day?

Re: discounts

Welcome to DC Cruella!
As BDavis said there are currently no discounts out for December (the ones out no only go to October). The MouseSavers website is the best when it comes to finding your Disney World discounts. Are you a Florida resident or a Disney passholder? I ask becuase Disney usually releases discounts for those 2 groups the most. Fill us in and we'll be glad to help you! Disney in December is beautiful!

Re: discounts

If you are not on a budget I would suggest on of the monorail resorts like the Contemporary or the Polynesian. For a budget Pop Century. Your 2 yr old gd will enjoy all the bright colors.

Re: discounts

I don't expect December discounts, if any are released, to be out until August a the earliest. I would think the chance of getting a discount in December is slim. If there is something, it will most likely be like the current free dining plan deal. Keep watching though, you never know. If you are thinking of going over Christmas break, there have never been discounts for that period, so I would book now, things are getting full.

Depending on your budget, there are plenty of great resorts to stay at. I would book something now that fits in your budget, and watch for discounts, and then you can upgrade to a nice resort for the same price.

Re: discounts

thanks to all i am not a passholder or florida resident, and my daughter no longer works there. i would like to be in moderate or value and would not be spending much time in the rooms probably only in the evenings and if warm enough time at the pool

Re: discounts

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort when my daughter was an infant and my niece who was 2 at the time. It is a very large resort, and the bus system was crowded and not efficient. That was 13 years ago, but I doubt that it has changed much. If you can afford it, I would definitely try to stay at one of the resorts along the monorail line. It would be much more convenient, and with a 2 year old, most of your time will probably be spent at the MK.
