Does anyone know when the pop warner cheerleaders will be at wdw this year? I assume all stars will get most of them again this year. But PC did get the overflow last year.

I believe it's Dec. 4th - 11th this year.

I was just curious since you only mentioned the cheerleaders and not the football players, do you find the boys better behaved during pop warner week?

Only the girls were at PC when we were there last Dec. I'm sure the boys are just as bad.

I know the question has been answered already, but just an FYI--Disney's Wide World of Soprts has a calendar on their site. It lists dates for events (maybe not the entire trip for the group), but I found it handy the other day and thought I'd share it :)

The Wide World of Sports site is wonderful for checking on any and all sports that may be on site. Don't forget to check soccer, baseball, softball. We were unfortunate to be at All-stars during softball, cheerleading and soccer. after that we always checked the sports schedule before finalizing our trips.

ahhh. I haven't experienced the pop warner kids at a hotel, just in the parks. The girls tend to cheer and loudly while walking through the park. I never noticed the boys in such large groups, more like groups of 5 or 6 tops.

I imagine at the hotel its the boys causing more of a ruckus than the girls, but at the parks the girls tend to drive me crazy.

Two years ago we had just a few days left (ASMUSIC) as pop warner moved in. We didn't notice major problems at the hotel. There was one girl who kept filling her soda cup, dumping some of it, filling it with a different flavor, dumping some etc....after about the fourth time, a adult with the group said " come on, [kid's name], that's enough!". That ended that. At the parks we did have the misfortune of walking in front of some cheerleaders. All of a sudden they started "cheering", after my heart calmed down, I turned around expecting to see 50 girls since they make so much noise. I was shocked to see only about 8. We just stood aside and let them pass. Didn't need to hear the cheers all through Epcot. On a bus that was fairly empty, a football team came on, as the bus started to fill, the parent in charge started telling the boys to let others have their seats. I felt rather proud at that. Not that I knew any of them, but that it's still being done.
