Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
We've stayed there on our Honeymoon. Its a beautiful resort with a fantastic pool. I am not sure which rooms are best because it depends on what you want to be near. The Theme Pool and Main Building - Check in and restaurants are far apart. Its a big resort. Others will have good advice but it is a nice resort and worth seeing.
Look at:http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...7&page=1&pp=15 I started that thread not sure if I wanted to return to CSR. This is what others said about the Moderate resorts. Hope it HELPS!

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
I love CSR. It has a reputation for being a more "adult" resort because it's the only moderate with a conference center, but this also ensures deluxe-level service and amenities like a salon, spa services, and a fitness center. The main pool really is incredible and the quiet pools are rather large and very nice.
My favorite part about the resort is the line of hammocks along the sand in front of the cabanas buildings -- I've found these to be the ultimate in Disney relaxation. If you want to stay as close to the lobby/food court/gift shop as possible, choose Casitas building 1 or Cabanas building 9B. If you want to stay as close to the main pool as possible, choose Cabanas 8A. If you want to stay far away from everything, choose Ranchos (this is a more isolated, but a much more quiet, part of the resort). Like I said, this is one of my favorite resorts. It has the biggest hot tub on Disney property (can fit 22 people!), a dedicated bus service (no sharing with other hotels), and fantastic staff. Enjoy!

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
CSR is our least favorite moderate. I just seems soooo big. We were in Ranchos 7a, We were really far from the main building. We didn’t even buy a refillable cup, because the walk was so far. It was easier to spend $2.50 in a vending machine than to take the walk. A couple times we actually drove to the food court.
There was a Convention there also, I have never seen so many men in suits and women in hose and heels at WDW.

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
Depends what you are looking for
Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge. Most preferred location. Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. Some rooms within steps of the Dig Site. Cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above. cabana 9a has a quiet pool. cabana 9a also has smoking optional rooms so make sure you are clear as to what you will accept. Cabana rooms are mostly waterview rooms or non parking lot views. Rancho 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a. rancho 6b is also fairly close to the main pool area. Casita 4 is close to the gym, spa and has quiet pool. THe casitas have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building. |

CSR Pros and Cons
CSR!! Check out my website below for reason why!!
THE PROS No sharing bus service with other resorts Centrally located with short rides to the parks Largest hot tub on WDW property Awesome main pool area with bar, snack bar, playground and kiddie pool 3 quiet pools New shuttle service eliminates long walks to any of the villages High speed internet service WiFi available too Free use of the gym Spa Fridge in the room Coffeemaker in the room Iron and ironing board full room service menu 2 arcades beautifully landscaped central air, not a noisey wall unit THE CONS Full size beds (kings size beds are available) one sink IN THE MIDDLE The Pepper Market is either a love it or hate it place. We love it but some folks just don't care for it. Convention resort - some guests don't like seeing other guests at work. Doesn't bother us and helps keep the buses empty. GF, Cont, BW, Y & B Club are also convention resorts. Check out my website below |

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
we've stayed there, and we thought it was fabulous.
We stayed in some part of the Cabanas, I can't remember where...yeah, it was a big resort - but the walks were EXTREMELY enjoyable! It's not like you just see cement and that's it...it's beautifully themed.

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
Pete and I liked this resort very much. It is a bit of a walk to get to some places, but I'd stay there again.

Re: Has anybody stand at Coronado Springs??
CSR is by far our favorite place to stay. Just happens our last trip we could not get any rooms, they were completely booked. Had alot of conventions going on. Our next trip scheduled for Oct./Nov they just have king beds available, which would be fine. But DH was able to book PO/FQ's cheaper.
Actaully took advantage of the new AP program. I do have to say PO/FQ's was very nice also, but my heart still says CSR!!!! It is a beautiful resort!!! JOANN ![]()

Hello Bali, you were saying the Ranchos are the most remote, sounds good to me. If you would know which one is the remotest? And what are they 3-4 stories high? Thank You Kindly for any help.
