Leaving in 2 days - how's the weather?

I'm not sure who's more excited...me or my 5 year old! She fell playing baseball last night and has ahuge cut on her arm! Just in time for Disney. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like? Also, we're staying at Pop Century in one of the "cheap" rooms. Anyone know what the difference is between the more expensive rooms at PC?

Yup. That's the same end of June forecast we're used to, too. Bring or buy ponchos and umbrellas and be sure to have extra shoes. Just be resigned to get wet and enjoy yourself anyway. We never let it slow us down one bit.

Look at it this way if you get wet in Florida rain in June at least it is warm and usually will make the parks clear out a little!!

Have fun!

It's been really hot and humid lately. Definitely plan on bringing ponchos! We always have afternoon showers here in the summer, some of them are light and go away in 10 minutes and others pour and stay for a little while longer. Have fun!

HOT and RAINY

Don't worry about staying at the "cheap" room at the PC. From what I've heard, they are all GREAT. You just wont' be looking over a pool from your window.

Who cares? You're at DISNEY and you're staying ONSITE. Those are the most important factors!!

Have a super trip! I'm glad your little girl is so excited (and I'm sorry to hear about her arm!)

You're going to post a trip report, right???

Re: Leaving in 2 days - how's the weather?

Actually, you may be overlooking a pool. The "preferred rooms" are in the 60's buildings and are right near the Hippy Dippy pool. We stayed in the 50's at Christmas and had the bowling pin pool right outside our doors. Cheap is a relative term at the values as the preferred rooms are only $10 extra a night. I would rather put that money towards eating and souvenirs myself. From a fellow Canadian, that's 12.50 a night. ;)

Re: Leaving in 2 days - how's the weather?

We just got back and the weather was cloudy, rainy, not too hot, but it was humid. JUST PERFECT!!(I am NOT being sarcastic, I loved it.) We had ponchos, and the rain just wound up clearing out the parks, and we had a great time! We actually hoped for rain everyday!!

From the looks of my garden and lawn, I see we didn't get any rain in Michigan while we were gone. Pretty sad looking here.

Our garden looks great, but our lawn looks bad. We are spending all our time helping the garden get by.
