I have been looking over the different moderate resorts and this one has caught my eye. How is it for children? Which area is closest to the food court, bus stop? Would love to hear some reports from people who have stayed there recently or whenever. Good and bad. Thanks

Re: Pofq

I love POFQ, it is wonderful for children. The pool is fantastic and there is a fun little playground. We stayed in building #5 and it was close to everything, but the resort is not very large so all the rooms are great.

Re: Pofq

We love POFQ too. There really isn't a bad building in the bunch. You can walk from any building to the food court in 3-5 minutes. Buildings 5 and 2 face the pool, and that is where we like to be.

Re: Pofq

POFQ is a great resort for children. The Sea Serpent pool is great, everything is within an easy walk, and there's only one bus stop. It's cheerful and bright. We were there when our girls were 8 and 9 and one of the nicest things I remember is that we had a first floor room overlooking a little grassy square with a fountain and benches. The girls loved to take their skipping ropes or a ball out there to play on the grass. The boat ride to DTD is also enjoyable for kids.

Re: Pofq

I think POFQ is great for kids. The pool is totally geared to kids, the food court has a fun theme too and it is a smaller resort so there is less trekking all around to get to bus stops and the food court area.

Re: Pofq

POFQ is one of my top resorts, the layout is easy to manuever and close to everything. You can even walk to the foodcourt in POR in a couple minutes.
I've seen more children play there than at POR, due to the lush open courtyards.
If children are a concern, you only have one bus stop and the rooms are failry close.
My room was in the back by the river and it only took me a couple minutes to get anywhere.
